For most couples, no other event will demand and receive as much attention as their wedding. Looking back over my years of experience as an event planner, wedding guest, bridesmaid, maid-of-honour, and even a bride, there is a magical and delicate spirit of celebration that belongs exclusively to a wedding. Indeed, the magnitude and intense desire to have this event both exceed expectations and remain as an untarnished memory for a life-time, can be overwhelming to all parties involved, and especially to the couple-to-be. Even the simplest of weddings, still demands perfection and creates pressure to be successful. It is an unfortunate outcome of this pressure to succeed that causes so many couples to associate their wedding with stress, arguments, long hours wasted with poor service providers and insecurities over making the wrong decisions and/or changing their mind.
